Over on Metafilter I joined in on the Bowie Summer Challenge. The idea was to, as a community, cover the entire The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars record. I was assigned the song Soul Love which I wasn’t familiar with (I’m more a Scary Monsters guy than Ziggy Stardust.) Anyway, here’s what I came up with:

Granted I’m not the biggest Bowie fan ever [insert sound of people stopping reading], but I prefer your version. You’ve lost the cabaret feeling and found something more satisfying. At least to me. Nice!

It’s an excellent cover. Speaking of Scary Monsters, I’d love to hear you do covers of Ashes to Ashes and It’s No Game from that album.
