Welp, the album’s off to mastering. What a needlessly awful process that was (spoiler: all my fault). Maybe one day I’ll write up all the things I learned but for now my priority is to move on and keep some guilt-free momentum going. I’m excited to not take four years to make my next thing.
So there are some shows booked. I’ll have an official release date (spoiler: November 2nd) and all that jazz sometime soon. I’m working on new songs and I’m not sure what I’ll do with them yet. Slow and steady wins the race.
Also: my buddy JB who runs Songfight! had a 40th birthday recently. A bunch of us did covers of his songs as a birthday surprise. I covered What We Need More of is Science (original is here.)

Great news!
Tell Me Something I Don’t Know came on shuffle today, think I’ve played that song over a hundred times now and it STILL gives me shivers.
So thank you :)

Good grief – I didn’t think I could like a song more than “Making Me Nervous,” but “Dropping out of School” is the official soundtrack of my commute… and some of my workday… and home…
What’s the word on the US tour?

I am so glad that you are on Spotify – it reminded me how much I like your songs so I listened a lot today! I will be interested to buy the new release ad to see your tour schedule. Keep the faith and best of luck.

Looking forward to it! Love your songs, any chance you’re coming to Europe for a tour (Sweden?) or is it just the US?

No plans for much of a tour this year. Ottawa, Kingston, Montreal, Toronto. If there’s enough demand after the album drops I’ll figure something out for Spring/Summer.

Looking forward to this a hell of a lot, is there going to be any stems available/opportunities for remixing? I’m also wondering about physical copies/pre-ordering and stuff but I suppose you’re going to get to talking about that sometime soon

Steamboating: I’ll be releasing all the stems like the other two albums, yep. Digital & CD pre-ordering will probably be up in October.

Love it when I check in on you and find some album progress being made. Good job man!
Every time I’ve made an album, I assume the next will be easier. It just seems to get harder and the time spans in between longer. When you get this figured out, please let me know.
Good luck, can’t wait to purchase your #3.

I cannot wait for this album, you have no idea how happy this made me. You should definitely make it around to North Carolina for a tour sometime. I and all of my friends would go, and it would be incredible. I have no doubt this will be an amazing album!

So psyched! I bought both your other albums. I love your music. I just listened to it all through my run yesterday and I never get sick of it. Don’t ever stop or doubt your stuff resonates.
