Hi everyone. I figured I’d jinx myself by saying the album’s coming along nicely. A total of eight tracks will be ready for mixing by the end of next week. Right now I’m focusing on how great it will be when I don’t have to think about it anymore. Mmmm, that’ll be sooo excellent.
I don’t know when it’ll be out though. I’ve gotta start thinking about promotion. At this point I’m tempted to just throw the record online, call it a day and move on but everyone says that’s unwise. We’ll see.

A PhD. Although after 8 years, it feels more like beating a dead horse at times. But it’ll all be worth it when it’s done, right? … Right?

I’m not sure what I’m working on, actually. Probably updating my iTunes library with lyrics for every song. So do you think you could post the lyrics for all of the songs on Guess Who’s a Mess somewhere? I’d really appreciate it.

Really nice work Brad and I’m really waiting for the new album. I am also working on an album, even if it will take time since I also have to focus on my academic education. But I just bought some new studio mics and stuff so I’m really excited. I will also make another album with my band in the fall and probably next year also. I feel bad for that comment now, because I don’t want to rub any salt into any wounds or anything… but still feel that it needed to be said. I’m sure the album will be worth the wait, I’m just frustrated for you Brad. I’ve followed you for many years now and I have no doubt that If you were more prolific you’d have so much more success. Knowing you’ve had the tracks down in at least a decent state for so long now, does make me think that you COULD be more prolific too. I just want you to succeed man, but it’s frustrating when I see you getting it all done so much slower than I know you could do it.

Matt: I understand. It’s been frustrating for me also. I haven’t handled the (real and/or imaginary) pressure as well as I would have liked.
It’ll either be done in the next month or I’m gonna can it and move on to new stuff.

Well, you could be like me (and I am sure others)and own 5 guitars and not have talent to play any of them and create music like you have….so then we go to jr college and become a “whatever” assistant and live boring lives and wait for Brad Sucks to come out with his next masterpiece…wanna trade lives Brad???
