Whoops. I found out on Friday that last week I accidentally uploaded a very old version of my Guess Who’s a Mess demo. That’s pretty embarrassing, I was actually pretty horrified but I think I’m good now. Anyway here’s the latest one instead:
Okay, moving on…

Oh man, I loved the ending already, but now you’ve tripled the funkiness. Be horrified no more.

what you used for the intro drums?
samples or a ready sampler?

Pretty sure that was a disco drum loop off a sample CD that I time-stretched.

I prefer the older demo, personally. You should release it.

there you go
you took your medicine
even tho acetaminophen
won’t control nearly everything
that you know
oh well
it’s not enough
everybody says you’re so messed up
but you’re no idiot on the sidelines
take a chance on a modern drug
and maybe you’ll survive the night
alright(oh Yeah)
it’s amazing what what they do today with
animals, and chemicals,and make-up
looking good to me
so hit the pavement
it’s hard to say you’re not already famous
if there’s a place you can be
call the ambulance
and they’ll take you there for free
try to look real (as?) sick
cos you’ll want a magazine
take a trip on the downside
oh well
it’s not enough
everybody says you’re so messed up
but you’re no idiot on the sidelines
take a chance on a modern drug
and maybe you’ll survive the night
oh yeah
it’s amazing what they do today with
animals and chemicals and make-up
looking good to me
so hit the pavement
it’s hard to say you’re not already famous
say you wanna try
but you can’t get it right
you think you’re just so bright
why do the same thing twice
if you could take your life
*then you could make us smile*
and even when you die
it’s not a enough
*unsure of the line…

I love your music, good to listen to on those summer afternoons while staring off into the mountains in upstate NY. Good to snowboard to in the winter. Can’t wait for the new album Brad.

BRAD! If you read this I just want to thank you for the music you make! I feel like I can relate to nearly every song you have made, and when I feel in a shit mood you have a song for me to listen to to chill out. I have your whole discography and damn the music is great! KEEP IT UP!
