Goodbye Horses (cover)

Last month “Jack” requested twice (1, 2) that I do a cover of Goodbye Horses, the Q Lazzarus song:

Request from Brad if he’s up to it. Bunch of friends and I think Clerks 2 is an awesome movie! We wanted to know if Brad would do a cover song of Goodbye Horses from Q Lazzarus. You know the creepy silence of the lambs Buffalo Bill song. Take the creepy out and see clerks 2 to understand the humor in it. Everyone at work loves Bradsux and wanted to see if Brad would attempt a cover of it. Such groups that actually sounded better that did a remix were Psyche. Anyhow just small request.

I listened to the original and didn’t like it. Then I noticed it was stuck in my head and I started to like it. Then it seemed familiar and I realized my wife was obsessed with it a couple months ago. So here’s my cover:

Brad,

Me and the guys at work are blown away! This cover is much better than the original and yes the song is at first disturbing then it just grows on you. My 4 year old is into horses, my little pony etc and we sing your songs quite a bit when were on our way home from picking her up from school. This is just too kool and can wait to tease my finance with it and sing it with the kiddo!! Again, thanks bro this just rocks and glad that you took the time to do it. Much appreciated sir and thanks again!!

Another great demo, man. Definitely better than original. As long as you’re taking requests, I’d love to hear you do “So Alive” by Love and Rockets. Another great late 80s track.

SInce the release of two great covers that Brad has completed, Goodbye Horses and Heart and Soul, have there been any thoughts on making a cover albumn? Every customer i deal with hears Brad’s music and becomes and instant fan.

Seen Clerks 2, love the movie although prefer the firt one but this song definitely hits my tunage button’s. Proper good cover! Cheers again. Just wish we had act’s like Brad Suck’s apart from the shite we have here with Cowell’s de-facto music factory and the bland rock we get here.

Cheer’s again and again for the great tunes.

Dude! You gotta put this on your new album! I know it’s a concept album, and you only put originals in your albums, but this version is SICK! I literally got a friend of mine into your music, because of this song. I hope you can sneak it on as a hidden track or something. PLLEEEASE!
