Anyone out there know much about syncing visualizations & lights to Ableton Live? I have a totally top secret project I’m working on and it requires some eye candy. I’m up to my eyeballs in reading about DMX controllers and video DJ software and there has to be a simpler way…

Hey Brad, have a look if you can find a decent MIDI-to-DMX converter, relevant DMX boxes for whatever lights you’re aiming to control…and voila’, with a bit of fiddling you should be able to send MIDI from your music software (Ableton, etc) that gets automagically turned into commands for the lights.

Then you’ll need either a dimmer box that accepts DMX:
