I get this sort of message all the time on MySpace:

Making Me Nervous won’t play when I add it to my profile :( I just discovered you (thanks pandora. com!!!) and I want my friends to hear how awesome this song is. I see from your comments other people have had the same problem… can you fix it?

I searched all over and I can see lots of people successfully have added my songs to their pages and couldn’t find any info on why it might be failing in some cases. Does anyone know what the issue is?

I don’t think you’ll find much of an explanation for the problem beyond the fact that MySpace sucks, bro. Sorry.

It’s probably just a myspace momentary glitch, lord knows there are plenty of those. I have found that for the most part, eventually things will work. I uploaded a new tune and it wouldn’t work on my music page for almost a week, but now works fine. Who knows why it didn’t work in the first place. Was this a new tune on your page?

I think it’s all just a server load issue. Don’t you get those “An unexpected error occurred.” messages? You’d think they’d fix something like that to be less dependent on individual servers, or server banks, insteads they should just put your request in queue until it finds an available server to take it, or something like that.

Parts of MySpace stuff will kak going through proxies. I suspect is where it gets blowed up; try using an anonymous proxy server and watch what happens to the pages.

The reason they reply like that is to plug a website …..hence the (thank you pandoracom) comment made by the person leaving it. You think it’s a real issue when they are indirectly spamming you.
