Reminds me of my “Turns to Dust” (except he’s looking for something that doesn’t “predict” the end of times)

Even before reading the link, this came to my mind:
Godspeed You Black Emperor – The Dead Flag Blues

Muse’s entire Absolution album, but mainly Apocalypse Please. I was thinking that Absolution might be a concept album about the end of the world, because of humans. If you listen to the songs, it’s pretty much about the world’s leaders revealing their secrets (Ruled by Secrecy), people going crazy about the end of the world (Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome), and people confessing love to each other (Falling Away with You, Sing for Absolution, Endlessly).

I guess I’m the only one who thought of “Chitlins, Whiskey and Skirt” from Full Throttle (by the Gone Jackals?).
