mole.jpgI got a sexy Moleskine notebook for Christmas. It’s very nice and it’s the sort of thing I would never buy for myself but was curious about, so it was an excellent gift.

So far I’ve learned that none of my thoughts or feelings are fancy enough to be written in such a nice notebook. “Would Hemingway or Picasso have written that in their Moleskines, Brad? Honestly.” It’s still blank and I’m trying to work up the balls to wreck it with language.

Did you know that they make Moleskines with staff paper inside? I’ve got one and it is the best sketch pad I have ever had.

Wreck it, and do it fast. They’re really nice notebooks, but in the end, it’s just paper for your thoughts.

I just wanted to thank you for your music. I listen to it regularly…driving around…working out, etc. If you are tracking the most distant fan, my man with no fans, I am in Switzerland.

This is too funny; I’ve had an almost identical experience and resorted to exactly what Joe suggests. It’s now the most beat up notebook I own… and the one I use most. Besides, a Moleskine can take the beating, right?

Heh.

I bought mine, but I also thought that nothing would fit in my fancy, expensive notebook. lol.

I’m gonna try and do something with it though. lol.

I felt the same about mine after I bought it for drawing. I recently started using it as a notebook out of necessity when I was at school orientation and couldn’t find anything else that was suitable to write on. Oh yeah, and I used it for a shopping list. Now I realize how well it works as an everything book!!!!!!! And stupid, scattered ideas just make it all the more interesting. And it makes my drawings look cooler too!!!! Yeeeeeeah!
