I’ve been getting a lot of email about some remixes done by an Israeli group called Psycraft on their album Computech. They’ve done remixes of Borderline and Dirtbag and apparently have had a bit of success with it, appearing on the latest Raja Ram mix cd.

Yeah, but if you google Psycraft – Dirtbag, it says that they are the ones who wrote the song and produced it.
You should at least get the credit you deserve. Glad I stumbled across your music.

Yeah that’s ridiculous. I mean it’s one thing if they use your music, and it is for free and you said people could use it, but to claim that it is your work is just wrong. That’s absurd. You deserve credit for that remix.

I remember that I was the one that told you that. I wrote an email and you answered.
By the way, the remixes made by Psycraft aver very good ones, also the song Dirt Bag is very awesome. I knew about your music by them =)

No one is claiming it it their work. On the album it says Brad Sucks – Dirtbag (Psycraft Remix). That’s pretty obvious.

How can INgrooves copyright a remix of this I thought the license had to carry over to the remixes is that incorrect?I had a content ID match on my youtube video. Now when you view the video it has an advert for Psycraft – Dirtbag (Remix) on Itunes Amazonmp3 and eMusic.I dont know about Brad but that really ticks me off!!

You can copy, distribute, advertise and play this album as long as you:
*
Give credit to the artist
*
Don’t use this album for commercial purposes
*
Distribute all derivative works under the same license
That bottom line says it all i think.

Seems that “Psycraft” is claiming copyright notices on youtube videos that use YOUR version of the song Dirtbag and stating that they own the rights. They reject disputes and say it’s still their song.
“Psycraft-Dirtbag (Remix)”, sound recording administered by: 2:03
INgrooves Dispute rejected, claim has been reinstated.
