I’ve been enjoying the new Personalized Google homepage. It’s quick and doesn’t piss me off, which must be a Google design mantra. I’m experimentally adding it as my browser homepage and I haven’t had one of those for at least five years.

This would be a perfect place for them to put a to-do list and a calendar that integrated with Gmail. If it had that I think I’d finally be forced to ditch Outlook for Gmail.

What have you been using as a homepage? Just starting up with nothing loaded at all?

Yep. Blank. I don’t think this Google thing will stay, there’s a slight delay when I load the browser now.

hey dude, love the music, great job on all the stuff. i really like borderline.

anyway, back to the topic. i like having the personalized page there. cuz often as not, i’m just going on the net for nothing at all and i like having some quick news bulletins and some interesting stuff like random how-to’s. i also like to see what the state of my mailbox is. anyway, just my two cents.

great music, still love it, keep it up

Brad, I feel your pain on the Outlook thang. About a year ago, I switched to Mozilla Thunderbird – use it at home and at work and love it (I still use Gmail when I’m out or for searching my mail). They don’t have a calendar yet, but Lightning is in the works and it is expected to be nice. For the meantime, I use Sunbird, Mozilla’s stand-alone calander.
