CDR Repair Kits – turns out the best method is to skip the specific CD repair kits and use Brasso metal polish. Another person vouching for Brasso here.

Does dawn actually repair scratches or does it just clean it?

after doing tons of research i found out
dawn doesn’t work to fix scratches and neither do any of these:
brasso
old maid (just like comet)
tooth paste
car polish
an eraser
none have worked for me so i recommend going out and purchasing a cd doctor
it will save you alot of trouble
