I have had a set of staccato drums for about 20 years. Everyone loves them..The best part is people come over and see them …they just have to try them…they get people interested! Who needs a mic?? they are in production again in England I have been in touch with the designer check them out, just search staccato drums..

Hello
I was in touch with the person in England making the new Staccato drums. Then I lost his contact e-mail and Tel number. Can any one please direct me to someone that knows the companys email or tel numbers. It will be greatly appreciated.

Realy great news it is to hear that stccato drums are going back into production. They are the most awsome things i have ever seen.they are not just drums they are like a work of art.Infact you could display them in your living room as some sort of modern sculpture and tell any bodey that didnt know any better that it was a work of art.And then suddenly whip out your drum sticks and blow their head off.
im realy looking forward to seeing them out there on the market again and ive even heard that to relaunch the drums staccato will be releasing a special limited edition version made from carbon fibre for an increased sound performance. As if these drums needed to be any louder. But not only that. They will be made from carbon fibre. The same stuff f1 grand prix cars are made from.Thats increadible. These things are going to be out of this world. So if any ones got a wallet the size of a suitcase I envy you.Alot.

How much are these things worth? I have a set I’m going to sell, but you might not want them, they’re YELLOW!!!!!!! I’m about to put them on ebay. They are from the early 80’s and only played a dozen times or so. Been in storage for years, time to go.

I have a set of white and black Staccato drums, one of the bass drums is the second one EVER made, two of the toms are also prototypes, they are slightly shorter in the body than production models.I have a SIGNED receipt from PAT TOWNSEND , the inventor to say the drums I bought from him are as played by NICO MCBRAIN, KEITH MOON and others. One of the bass drums needs a new tom mount, a PREMIER 392 LOCKFAST mount is what is needed. If anyone knows where I can get such a part please get in touch.I bought some of the kit from a drum shop , the others I bought from Pat Townsend. You should see the STACCATO GUITAR hung on his wall, touch cntrol volume etc. email timecrypt@ntlworld.com
