Here are some of the remixes and news that it’s taken me forever to post. A bunch of the remixes are ones I downloaded from Remixfight from before it got hacked (by the same security hole it seems that took out my forums and server some weeks ago):

Latest source is for Sick as a Dog and you can get it here. Get your remixes in to me and you could be on a remix compilation coming out in the new year. Ooh la la!
Other junk:
- You can buy individual songs off my album on MSN Music now. Previously you could only buy the whole album, glad that’s fixed.
- Apparently Australia’s Triple J station played something by me and mentioned me. That is sweet.
- Drew Tetz tipped me off to my songs being used in yo-yo videos (1 and 2) The first one is from “The 2004 World Yo-Yo Contest” and is pretty hardcore.
- I’ve lost track of all the Podcasts that are playing me. I think one was plph.radio and I did a semi-custom intro for the Reel Reviews back when I had time to spare.

Brad, Triple J is THE national alternative station in Australia. I didnt hear any of your songs on it but to get played on there considering your location and marketing is INSANELY good. Ill try and email a request for some of your stuff. Keep it up.

Well, Drew, you must have done it, because as I was driving along in my car, 7:12pm Perth time (GMT+8), I heard a song I was familiar with, and wracked my brains as the intro was playing… then I realised it was BRAD SUCKS!
Needless to say, I was very shocked and excited, and had to come STRAIGHT away to tell people…
Like Drew said, Triple J is THE radio station for alternative music… The song, by the way, was “I Think I Started A Trend”

hey brad! remixfight took a beating but thanks in large part to Tanis the Manis and his drupal magic, it’s back and looking good. there’s a stream of all of your “bad attraction” remixes over there as well.

Hey Brad,
Remember some months ago you sent me a couple of CD’s with the understanding that I would forward them on to JJJ?
Well I did end up doing that but JJJ never sent me any response. Their policy is that they will listen to all music they get sent but that they will not necessarily send any feedback.
But just this afternoon I heard “I Think I Started a Trend” on my way home from work. I was pretty stoked because in the back of mind is the thought that JJJ might be playing your music from a CD that I sent them.
Or possibly they found your music elsewhere. Ill email JJJ to follow it up and find out how they found you.

I do remember that, thanks a lot ExistAngst. Most radio around here just drops new indie CDs right into the garbage so I wasn’t too hopeful. Guess I should be more optimistic.

Oh man… I heard Brad Sucks again today on JJJ (i think ive started a trend).. let me say the song seemed to fit in very well on the radio, top work! I turned my digi cam on (with mic) and attempted to record a movie of what i was doing (I was fiddling with a car in the shed) and capture the background radio and the batteries died! durahell =(
The announcer credited the work to a group called Brad Sucks from the US.. I snickered knowingly..
