Today I took down all this mattress foam I stuck to the walls around me a few months ago. It worked okay for sound dampening but I can’t stand the smell of polyurethane anymore. I think it’s clouding my mind and draining me of my powers, much like Superman in that movie there… with the thing. Now I’m emailing acoustic foam retailers asking if their products stink. And feeling pretty cool about it.

How ever it smells, just make sure that it’s flame retardant foam! Remember THE STATION fire: http://www.cnn.com/2003/LAW/02/28/nightclub.fire/ . Not that you would ignite pyrotechnics in your “studio” but shit does happen. (In this case, DON’T “set shit on fire”!)

Sorry, that should have said flame resistant. I’m retardant.

I was looking up polyurethane because I moved into this apt. and my throat burns and it’s either due to the floors being polyeurathaned a month ago or mold I can’t see from a pipe that leaked for a while before ot was fixed. This is off the topic but any ideas?
