Turns out that Mike Essl, one of the guys on the VH1 Totally Obsessed Mr. T episode that my song was licensed for use in, has posted the segment on his weblog. My song kicks in as soon as he ralphs and I’m pretty sure this makes us share some sort of deep VH1 party bond. Funny segment, glad to be a part of it.

When they called you about using your song did they mention that a guy, imitating Mr. T was going to blow chunks while your tune played in the background? Either way, it’s airplay right? Rockin’!

There was no mention of puking in the contract but it wouldn’t have made much of a difference to me.

Having finally seen the segment, I approve. It is indeed airplay, and besides, I just can’t say no to anything that involves Brad Sucks.
Now to just hope that VH1 gets flooded with calls about what that cool song was that they played when the guy puked.
