every black metal cheesehead should listen to the following albums….. disembowelment-transcendence into the peripheral….centurian- liber zar zax….morgion-among majestic ruin….asphyx-the rack….disincarnate-dreams of the carrion kind….bolt thrower-realm of chaos….abominator-damnations prophecy….morpheus descends-ritual of infinity….why???? because five seconds of one these albums contains more musical dimension than any run of the mill, flavor of the month, theyre so cool because theyre on an obscure label and no ones ever heard of them black metal cheese album….. and dimmu borgir is better than all the “cool kvlt as fvck” bands that the idiot above me mentioned. dude, get out of your parents basement.

yea, it’s not fair to say cof or dimmu borgir suks cuz i’m a kid and i dont have access to “true” music w/ the strict parents i have. they dont even know what i listen to. i’m only STARTING to be into metal so it’s no surprise that i’d like a band that suks to you but i agree, just cuz you guys dont like a band, doesnt mean you have to shit talk it.

I have never seen a more pathetic group of pussies, Burzum, Darkthrone, Iidjarn, Graveland, Clandestine Blaze, Musta Surma, Drudkh, and Mayhem are pretty much the only REAL black metal bands. Get over yourselves, you fatass stupid dumbasses.

THE ONLY BLACK METAL BANDS TO EVER EXIST ARE… VENOM, HELLHAMMER, BATHORY, and SODOM…YES SODOM ( and if you dont think so go listen to in the sign of evil. ) mayhem, burzum, darkthrone, immortal, and graveland, are DARK AMBIENT!!!!! aarseth and hitler jr. just called it black metal because they used the same concept as bathory. LIKEWISE IF YOU RELEASED AN ALBUM AFTER 1990 AND CALL YOURSELF DEATH METAL ….YOU ARE NOT!!!

I’m 27 years old and I’ve been listening to Death/Black metal since I was about twelve back in 91. Probably longer than alota you guys’ve been alive so I know what the fuck I’m talking about. It just boils down to this. I like alota BM. There are some pretty heavy BM bands out there but DM is HEAVIER, and that’s what settles it for me. Now there are some pretty fuckin soft ass, sell out, cheesy bands out there in both genres, but for the most part DM is still Heavier And BM is kind’ve a rip off of DM. I don’t mean to disrespect BM. BM is awesome but still, even the heaviest of BM bands can’t hold a flame to some good ole Brutal Death Metal. Just ask Behemoth. BM focus is on being evil and Satanic while DM focus is on sheer heaviness and brutality, yet alot of the older (and some of the newer) DM bands are more evil, satanic, AND more brutal than most black M bands. This does’nt mean that BM sucks. BM has alota good concepts that DM could learn from, and vice versa. For example I think alota DM bands are over producing there albums and thier guitars are downtuned alittle too much. BM needs a little better production fuck being “raw”, “grim, and kvlt”or whatever and could some more death growls. I think there will be some pretty wesome fusions between the two in years to come. And fuck all that corpse paint and fake blood an shit. It ain’t scary. It just makes ya look like posuers. The guys from cannibal corpse and deicide could kick your ass and give you a wegdy. No offense. I still like both genres.

Black metal has been aaround longer and takes alot more talent to play than death metal. I mean, just look at Cannibal Corpse; retarded guitars, annoying vocals, and the same drum beat on every album. Black metal was never meant to turn into a satanic genre, but idiots such as Carpathian Forest and Deicide made it that way. Production doesn’t matter much, but I guess to some people it does. The corpse paint and fake blood was an 80’s shock thing, it’s just humurous now…And as for Cannibal Corpse and Deicide giving us a wedgey, maybe they should give the fakeass horny demon they worship a wedgey. ;)
