And here’s my Borderline (Stutterbug Mix). I’m pretty happy with how this one turned out. It keeps a lot of the original but turns into more or less a whole other song. I think.

Hmm, interesting. I actually like the way you’ve messed around with the simple bassline of the original, it really gives it a more complex feel. On the other hand, the lyrics were really my favorite thing about the original, and those aren’t really comprehensible here.
I still like it.

Some artists have psychological issues. Some have substance abuse problems. Brad, on the other hands, has the problem of thinking he’s just a web junkie and forgetting he’s a brilliant song writer…

I like everything a lot better then the original Borderline, except what you did with the vocals, which, in my honest opinion, were worse. Maybe a mix of the two? Pretty please?

the guitar in this flat out rules. I love the mix on this. And as for the vocals I really think of this as a non lyrical song as the vocals interact more just like another instrument being played. I give it 2 thumbs up :D

I too was hoping that the vocals would come in unaltered, or at least not stuttered, which I think would’ve been a cool contrast. Oh well, maybe you tried that and it didn’t sound right.

It hurts my ears. The slowdown after the “doctor’s office” bit is cool, though.

Great mix. I hope to hear more stutterbuggery.

Very, very cool. There was a thread in the forum somewhere here discussing whether a remix should stay true to the original or should be something totally different. Brad, IMHO you walk the line perfectly on this one.

Screw homogeny and its cousin, compromise. Enjoy making mixes, and let the comfort-in-uniformity generation chase the clouds.
