Couldn’t sleep, so I played around with vocoding and my Making Me Nervous source. The result is Making Me Nervous – Vocoder Remix.

I like how the original’s verse becomes the harmony-ish part on this one. It’s cool sounding. Also, I like the robo-monk chanting effect for the break after the first chorus.

I really like the sound of this one, the only thing that might make it sound better is another voice on top of the distorted one that kind of makes it more audible yet harmonizes with the distorted one? Dunno, it could suck, but I generally like the slower feel to it about would be interested in hearing a more instumental version of the song played at that speed and with less of a pop sound. Anyway, just my ramblings.

Ignore what I said, the more I listen to this the more I like it the way it is, I would be interested in seeing you take some of your older songs and remix them as well, not in the same way of course, try a bunch of different styles of music on some already existing songs, it would be an interesting experiment. :) Or instead of remixes on some you could just record them a second time with a different take on it.

I’m digging it more than any other remix of this I’ve heard. It sounds like the vst plug-in that looks like a genie. I can’t quite remember the name though.
