Between churning out CDs and going to the office supply store to buy them out of mailing envelopes over and over, I’ve been meaning to blog some of the crazy hype Outside the Inbox has been getting, so here’s a list of some of the bigger media coverage so that I can impress my mom:

I’ve done phone interviews with the San Jose Business Journal and Montreal’s La Presse. Apparently the compilation has been mentioned on BBC Radio and I signed a waiver to allow LBC 97.3 to broadcast any of the Outside the Inbox or Brad Sucks stuff. Eric Wiltsher has told me they’re going to let me know when that’s going to happen so I can let you folks know.
I am assuming one day I will have time to work on music again.

I am so totally psyched for you. This is awesome, you are awesome for thinking of it, and I hope that when you become big and famous you’ll let me sing harmonies on “Making Me Nervous.”
You deserve all of this, Brad. Excellent work. I hope you’re doing a big 8-ball or something to congratulate yourself.

Astute underground music fans will note that all but two (I think) of the contributors to this compilation are members of the SongFight/somesongs community!
And they pretty much all (even the odd men out) kick serious ass. The cat in that first track makes me chuckle.

I could probably get brad sucks played on campus radio here at uMaine (It broadcasts pretty far, not just on campus). My friend co-hosts a radio show once a week and I might guest-co-co-host it eventually..

JB: I’m pretty sure that first track is Tycho’s. I can’t actually listen to any of them until I get cable (damn the mp3 choking on the ResNet!), but I think the name “Verbose” is a pretty big hint. :P
I think my feelings regarding this compilation can be summed up in one simple equation:
BRAD=GOOD
