Album: Brad Sucks: I Don’t Know What I’m Doing

This is a song I made for Songfight. It was written and recorded in under a day because I slacked until the last moment. I used Songfight as an excuse to try to rock.

I think this is one of my favorites of your songs. I love the line “I can tell by your middle finger that you’re warmin’ up to me.”

As The Bard would say, It doth rock.

P.S. Little known fact, William Shakespeare started a short lived rock band called The Bard Sucks as his popularity waned and the critics began to pan his dramas. The band didn’t work and he later sank into a self-destructive cycle of alcohol, drugs, sex and depression. His bandmates tried to form a reunion tour but Shakespeare only said “All the world’s a stage and I am just some stupid roadie that scores even less than the bass player. I bite my thumb at thee. Wankers.”

I have yet to be disappointed.

I do hear some Kurt Cobain vocals in this track. Kick ass song.

Dude, your Bad Atracttion song is one of the best songs I’ve heard. I didn’t think 1 man bands could sound this good.

Huge step up from your first material. Excellent job, wonderful lyrics, of course the middle finger bit is a true favorite moment. I don’t hear the comparisons to Kurt Cobain as someone previously mentioned but the vocals are great nonetheless.

Probably worth noting that this song won the SongFight that it entered.

This song needs to be put on some sort of “How to Score With Unsuspecting Women” compilation album. Whew! Hot.

I like them all, but this one has something else, doesn’t it? (grin)

..more of a Beck gone Lenny Kravitz. Brad, do yourself a favor and hire a drummer; drum beat machines are cheap and get old quickly. Then all the songs won’t be so mundane and boring; you can liven them up with breakdowns and pick ups

he should just learn to play drums himself, then he could still be a 1 man band

It sounds more like a hendrix similarity than anything else combining the feel of his vocals paired with the instrumentals
