Victor from Fourstones.net did this nifty remix of my song Dirt Bag and here’s what he wrote on his site about it:
I’m ashamed to say I just discovered Roy Budd but I’m digging deep now and making up for lost time. Meanwhile the mad beats are from a Stone’s Throw (no relation) release called “16 Corners” — again, expect lots of digging from there in the next few tunes. And what can I say about “Dirt Bag”? Set shit on fire…

I think this remix could have been so much more. It has a lot of potential, some cool effects and a great idea, but it’s off key and out of sync. Perhaps using a different Bradsucks song would work, or just a different artist altogether, but then I’m probably posting that suggestion on the wrong website.

Pretty good, but kind of unfocused. We have fast-as-hell drumbeats, a synth sax, and Brad Sucks vocals. Still cool, and “set shit on fire” is an cool lyric I should’ve noticed earlier.

Top marks for sampling Roy Budd, (the man is a legend), but there was a lot more scope for being more creative by cutting up some loops rather than just stick Brad over the top of the original soundtrack verbatim.
Cut the soundtrack up, filter it and keep the beats and you might have a winner.
